In addition to this, the organization hosts the only in-person pre-moot in sub-Saharan Africa which takes place in Nairobi, Kenya in February every year. Stephen was a participant in the 2017 iteration of the Vis Moot with Loyola University of Chicago School of Law - taught under Professor Margaret Moses. Since then, he has coached the Loyola Chicago Vis Moot team and subsequently, acted as an Adjunct Faculty member at Strathmore Law School in Kenya coaching their Vis Moot team.

At Mitchell Hamline, Ms. Florence served on the Hamline Law Journal of Public Law and Policy, and was published in 2013 for her article regarding state immunity statutes and policy implications. Ms. Florence was also elected to the Board of Governors as a class representative for her school, and was selected to compete and represented her school at the international VIS Moot law competition in Vienna, Austria, where she and her teammate were awarded the Honorable Mention for the Frédéric Eisemann Award in Team Orals. Ms. Florence also co-published and authored a research study commissioned by the European Union in 2013, regarding the Mediation Directive throughout the EU.

Ms. Florence also has a passion for philanthropy. In law school, Ms. Florence served as the Vice Chair for the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and completed twice the required amount of pro-bono hours for graduation. Ms. Florence also served on a number of charitable committees in law school, focused on justice inequality. After law school, Ms. Florence served on the Board of Directors for the United Nations Women, Utah Chapter of Salt Lake City, from 2015-2016, and presently serves as an advisor of advocacy.

Björn is a leading expert in international arbitration where he specializes in infrastructure, construction and commercial disputes. He has represented clients in arbitration proceedings across the globe and under most institutional arbitration rules as well as in ad hoc arbitrations.

He has also represented and advised governments and private sector clients in many jurisdictions throughout the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia in high value disputes involving major construction and infrastructure projects including airports, port facilities, railways, tunnels as well as health care and energy infrastructure. In 2017 Björn retired from the partnership of a major international law firm and now practices as an Independent Arbitrator.

I was part of the Young ICCA Mentoring Program Mentoring Group with Klaus Reichert as the Mentor. I am a co-author of the section on Poland in Jus Mundi's new comprehensive study on the enforcement of ICSID awards. I was an arbitrator at the Warsaw pre-moot. I also have experience as a tribunal clerk.

Earlier in 2023 she graduated from the University of Jena with her first state exam in law. During her studies, she specialized in international law and worked as a student assistant in a law firm. As a high school student, she spent one year in Kansas and pursued an early studies program in English literature at the University of Oldenburg. She now works as a research assistant at the Chair of Professor Michael F. Müller-Berg and writes her doctoral thesis on conflict of laws.

His international commercial disputes experience includes representation in international trade, trade finance, a depreciation policy dispute in a joint venture, oil and gas price dispute in the context of the Indonesian Production Sharing Contracts, CISG contracts, Islamic finance facilities, standby off-take agreements, shareholder and joint venture disputes, airline software solutions and the termination of shipbuilding contract. He has done arbitrations under various institutional rules of SIAC, ICC and LCIA arbitrations. He has also sat as an arbitrator. He has appeared before the Singapore International Commercial Court for a bank client in respect of a setting aside application by an Indonesian State-Owned Enterprise of an arbitral award in his client’s favour. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CiArb), FSiArb, on the SIAC Panel, HKIAC List, DIAC List, AIAC Panel, LCIA AP users' council and an ICC Commission Singapore Delegate. Recently called to the English Bar (2020) (unregistered barrister) and has expertise in investment treaty arbitration with an LLM (QMUL) July 2023.

He is also the Director of the IBA-VIAC CDRC Vienna, the world's most prestigious mediation moot competition, which uses the Willem C Vis Moot Problem for its mediations. Tom has 20 years of experience in assisting parties, counsels, states, and international organisations with (online-) resolving their international commercial, corporate, investment, construction, shipping, sports, employment, and inter-state disputes. Thomas won the Vis Moot in 2000 (U of Queensland) and has marked memoranda and served as Vis arbitrator on several occasions.

Nick Jung works as research assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Stamm at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in Germany. He participated at the 25th Vis Moot and is coach of the FAU Vis Moot team. He studied law at FAU, University College Cork (UCC) and Siberian Federal University (SFU). He holds a German and Irish law degree. He is a PhD candidate and researches at the interface between insolvency and corporate law.
