Andrea K. Bjorklund is the L. Yves Fortier Chair in International Arbitration and International Commercial Law at McGill University Faculty of Law. She is an adviser to the American Law Institute’s project on restating the U.S. law of international commercial arbitration. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Investment Treaty Forum of the British Institute for International and Comparative Law She is on the panel of arbitrators of the International Center for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association. Professor Bjorklund is widely published in investment law and dispute resolution and transnational contracts.

He initially trained as a French lawyer (1977 – 1981). He holds titles from the Universities of Paris (Licencé en Droit 1980, Maître en Droit 1981).
He studied in the United States at Harvard University (LL.M. 1983) and took the New York Bar Exam (1983/84). Until today, he is a member of the New York Bar.
After a year in an international law firm in Washington D.C. (concentrating on a large international oil dispute against the state of Iran), Eckart registered as an U.S. attorney in Germany while he studied at Hamburg University (1984 – 1987).

Robert Cimmino is an associate in Watt Tieder’s McLean, Virginia office concentrating his practice in the areas of construction litigation, suretyship and government contracts. In 2019, after graduating from the ELTE Faculty of Law, I started working at Lakatos, Köves and Partners as a trainee lawyer in the dispute resolution group. Sharareh Dastmalchi is a Professional Support Lawyer at BODENHEIMER. Marijn De Ruysscher, LL.M (Stockholm) is a counsel in the commercial litigation and arbitration department of Lydian, based in Brussels. Ms. De Souza is currently a doctoral candidate in the field of international investment law . During her studies, she has participated in several oral advocacy programs, for example the annual EuroSim debate, and the International Criminal Law Summer School at Leiden University. She participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot competition in 2021 in the team of Saarland University, where her team was able to finish among the top 32 teams worldwide. Carlo de Stefano is Assistant Professor of International law at the Department of Law of Roma Tre University in Rome. He has earned in 2016 a Ph.D. in International Law and Economics at the Bocconi University of Milan. During his doctoral studies he has been a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law (2015), junior visiting fellow at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies (IHEID) of Geneva (2015) and visiting researcher at Yale Law School (2014). He has been lecturer and post-doc researcher in international law at Roma Tre University (since 2016) and post-doc visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law of Heidelberg (2017), at the Department of Law of the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth of Milan (2018) and at the Department of European, International and Comparative Law of the University of Vienna (2022). He has also been lecturer and research tutor for the Master of Laws in International Trade Law of the International Training Centre (ITC) of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Turin. Carlo is involved in the international arbitration practice, as counsel as well as administrative secretary of arbitral tribunals. His book “Attribution in International Law and Arbitration” was published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
Ali Dehdashti is a legal professional with extensive expertise in international arbitration and financial law. He is a dual qualified lawyer and has been practicing as an attorney at law in the Iranian jurisdiction for several years, as well as being a solicitor in England and Wales. Borna Dejanović is a senior associate at the law firm Wolf Theiss and a member of the dispute resolution team in Zagreb. He joined Wolf Theiss as an associate in 2016 after graduating from the University of Zagreb Law School and has since been enthusiastically advising a broad spectrum of international clients. Borna specialises in arbitration and dispute resolution. He has acted as lead counsel and co-counsel in several high-profile commercial, construction and investment arbitration proceedings conducted under major international arbitration rules, as well as represented clients in the local enforcement of arbitral awards. Mikael Delin is a partner at Aumento Lawfirm in Copehagen, Denmark, and is primarily engaged in construction disputes as well as disputes relating to tort and insurance law.

Yuliia is a Willem C. Vis Moot Court Alumna with more than 4 years of practical experience working with leading international and regional law firms. Professor Toni Deskoski Ph.D. graduated at the Faculty of Law, University “Ss Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia in 1994 as one of the best students in generation. He completed his postgraduate studies in the field of Civil Law – Private International Law in 1999 at Faculty of Law, University “Ss Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. In the year of 2005 he has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation named as "Recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards" again at the Faculty of Law, University “Ss Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Prof. Deskoski is a Head of the Department of Private International Law since 2010. During his academic career, he published numerous monographs, articles, scientific papers in both Macedonian and English language. He has also taught International Commercial Arbitration. Although having relocated to his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, USA after retiring from Northumbria University Law School, Mr Devine is currently an Associate Tenant, Magdalen Barristers' Chambers, Exeter, England. He is a Member of the Congress of Fellows and a Member of the College of Arbitrators, Center for International Legal Studies, Salzburg, Austria, and regularly serves as an arbitrator for the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot organized by the Center.
Monika Diehl is a senior associate at Clifford Chance Warsaw specializing in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration. She has many years' experience in representing clients in complex litigation and international arbitration disputes spanning a variety of sectors, including renewables, oil & gas, construction and finance. She acts for foreign investors in investment treaty arbitrations. She is a member of the Arbitration Comittee of the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration.
Monika graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw, as well as the Center for American Law Studies co-organized by University of Florida and the University of Warsaw.
Monika participated in the 18th Vis Moot and FDI Moot in 2011 where she became an Honourable Mention advocate, while her team ranked 2nd and received 2nd prize for the Claimant's memorial. Emmanuel Diesch is a Master of Law and works as a Junior Associate for rothorn legal in their Zurich offices. Martin Doe serves as Deputy Secretary-General at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, an intergovernmental organization which administers arbitrations and other dispute resolution proceedings involving various combinations of States, State entities, intergovernmental organizations, and private parties.

Hana has served in the arbitration sector at leading international firms and arbitral institutions in Hong Kong, Washington, D.C. and Paris. She has experience in commercial arbitration and investor-State arbitration, working in English, French and Spanish.
Before joining the BVI IAC, Hana was a Registered Foreign Lawyer in the international arbitration practice of Pinsent Masons in their Hong Kong office. She previously worked as a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the arbitration team of King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong, and before that, as Counsel at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). Klára Drličková currently holds the position of an associate professor at the Department of International and European Law, Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. She teaches courses in Private International Law, International Commercial Arbitration and International Business Transactions. Björn P. Ebert is an Associated Partner with Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart, Germany, and specializes in international arbitration, including enforcement and setting aside proceedings. Björn studied law at the University of Tübingen and graduated top of his class in 2014. He participated in the 18. Zahra is a senior legal expert who has been working on international contracts and arbitration for the past 12 years. In her capacity as a deputy legal director, she has managed large scale arbitration cases in collaboration with internal and external counsels. She is passionate about dispute settlement mechanisms and recently became an accredited civil and commercial mediator.
Dr Eken currently serves as an assistant professor at Durham Law School and independent arbitration consultant. He is admitted to practice law as an attorney in California, Turkiye, and as a solicitor in England and Wales. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University and the Max Planck Institute in Luxembourg for Procedural Law. He has authored numerous publications on international commercial arbitration, investment law, third-party funding, and online dispute resolution. He is the recipient of the 2021 Postgraduate Research Output Award from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a finalist of other prizes from the National University of Singapore and The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining the faculty at Durham, Dr Eken was a practising lawyer in Turkey following a brief stint as a research assistant. Ms. Gvantsa Elgendashvili is a qualified business lawyer specializing in Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution (Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation) currently pursing doctoral studies at Central European University (S.J.D (PhD) in Law). In addition to her studies, Ms. Elgendashvili serves as a Legal Director at SunBreath Corp. Legal Services, a domestic business corporation operating in two jurisdictions – New York, the United States and Tbilisi, Georgia. Gvantsa Elgendashvili also serves as an Invited Lecturer at Georgian-American University (GAU) and University of Georgia (UG) providing lectures on EU Internal Markets Law, Secured Transactions Law, and Introduction to Law.

Ahmed is an associate at Links & Gains law firm, and a dual LLB graduate from the British University in Egypt, and London South Bank University. With a full enthusiasm and eagerness to be a qualified practitioner, Ahmed is striving to excel and enhance his legal profile, knowledge and skills. In that regard, he has secured nine internships in various renowned Egyptian law firms, including the international arbitration practices in the same. With a deep enthusiasm to be involved in the International moot competitions, particularly the arbitration moots, he has participated in numerous International moot competitions (as a participant and adjudicator) including SCCA arbitration moot, MediatGuru International negotiation competition and BUE internal moot. On the academic level, one of his objectives is to give an academic impact, and he is taking steps towards that by writing and publishing research papers in reputable journals and associations, like Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association, and he is pursuing an LLM.
Ahmed has been awarded by David Richbell scholarship, from Newcastle University to study an LLM on mediation and International dispute resolution, and he is a student member in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (Young EDAC).
Sophie studied at the University of Hamburg and the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. She is a lawyer and has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2021. Sophie advises on German and European competition law, merger control, cartel investigations and civil proceedings.
Ms Ersoy has graduated from Yeditepe University Law School at 2019. Following her Bachelor Degree she graduated from University of East Anglia Masters in International Commercial and Business Law with distinction, focusing on international arbitration in her dissertation. Mr. Estrella Faria is a national of Brazil. He graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, Brazil) and holds a Master of European Law from the Europa Institut der Universität des Saarlandes (Saarbrücken, Germany). He has published various articles and books on legal harmonisation, commercial law, cultural property law and international law. He has lectured at various universities and is an honorary professor of the University of International Business and Economics, China. David L. Evans is counsel to the law firm of Murphy & King, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts. He has represented large public corporations, closely held companies and individuals in the resolution of complex business disputes. Currently, Mr. Evans serves exclusively as an arbitrator and mediator, and has presided over more than 400 cases, domestic and international. Mr. Evans is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association/ICDR, receiving its Outstanding Director award in 2014. He is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and a member of numerous arbitration panels, including the Commercial, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Large, Complex Case Panels of the American Arbitration Association, the Panel of Distinguished Neutrals of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), WIPO, LCIA and the ICC (North America). Shelly is a construction and government contracts lawyer with extensive arbitration and litigation experience. Much of her work has been in the power industry where she has been involved as advice and litigation/arbitration counsel on more than twenty domestic and international power plant projects, including nuclear, coal, petroleum coke, and gas-fired combined cycle units. She has also represented clients in international arbitrations, including ICC arbitration and arbitration before the Republic of China Arbitration Association. She also practices in the field of government contracts, representing clients in connection with protests and appeals in the federal arena as well as state and local governments. She has taught International Arbitration at GMU Law School and coached their Vis team for 9 years. Shelly is currently serving as the President of the American College of Construction Lawyers.

Philip Exenberger has been with DORDA's Dispute Resolution team since 2011 and was appointed as Counsel in 2022. He acts both as counsel and as an arbitrator.
He is a specialist in international commercial and investment arbitration and other cross-border disputes. His focus is on particularly complex proceedings, especially those with a strong technical focus such as construction disputes.
