Ms Adriana Uson

Adriana Uson is the Director & Head (Americas) of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) where she leads and oversees SIAC’s activities in North and Latin America. In 2020, Adriana led the establishment of SIAC’s first office outside of Asia in New York.

Adriana has over a decade of experience in dispute resolution and has served as counsel on international arbitrations, arbitrator, and institutional representative.

Adriana first joined SIAC as Counsel, during which time she administered hundreds of cases across a range of seats and governing laws. She was involved in the drafting of the SIAC Rules 2016, SIAC Investment Arbitration Rules 2017, SIAC Rules 2025, and the SIAC Practice Note on third-party funding. She was also a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators working group that published the SIArb Guidelines on Party-Representative Ethics.

Prior to rejoining SIAC, Adriana was a disputes lawyer at a global law firm, where she advised and represented clients in international arbitrations conducted under the auspices of SIAC, ICC, ICSID, and HKIAC.

Adriana has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal as a National Leader for Southeast Asia in 2023 and an Arbitration Future Leader in 2024. In 2025, Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) recognized her as a Future Leader. Adriana represented SIAC at UNCITRAL Working Group II and UNCITRAL Working Group III. She served as Regional Lead for the Americas in the newly formed Young SIAC Council and is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Dr Merve Ece Uyanık

She graduated from Kadir Has University, Turkey in 2015. She practiced law as an attorney registered to Istanbul Bar between November 2016 -July 2017 and her main areas of practice were International Commercial Law and International Dispute Resolution. She is currently working as research assistant at International Private Law Department of Kadir Has University, Faculty of Law. She attended to 22nd Vis Moot and currently coaching Kadir Has University Team for 25th Vis Moot.

Mr Alexander v. Reden

Studied Law and Economics at the Universities of Göttingen, Geneva, Kiel and Hamburg. Received an MBA from Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) and an LL.M. from Suffolk University, Boston (MA). Worked as an Academic Assistant at the University of Hamburg, Faculty of Law. Admitted to the German Bar since 1986. Has been an Associate with the law firm of CMS Hasche Sigle and its predecessor firms in Frankfurt (Germany) since 1987 and a Partner of the firm from 1993 to 2022. Specialised in Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, M&A and Banking Transactions, Arbitration and Litigation.

Adriana Vaamonde Marcano is Director of Dispute Resolution Services at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), based in Miami, with a strategic focus on Latin America. Mr Lukáš Vacek

Lukáš is a Prague-based attorney-at-law at Aegis Law, specializing in dispute resolution. With extensive experience in high-stakes litigation and international arbitration, he has successfully represented clients in cases worth tens of millions of euros. His expertise lies in shareholder and construction disputes. On the international stage, Lukáš has succesfully represented clients before arbitration bodies including the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).

Mr Vytautas Vaicekauskas

Vytautas is a PhD Candidate (International and EU Civil Procedure) at Vilnius University and an Associate at MOTIEKA. His research and practice are primarily focused on cross-border litigation and arbitration.

He graduated from Vilnius University (magna cum laude). He has been a mootie himself, including the 30th Vis Moot. Since, Vytautas is coaching Vilnius University Team for the Vis Moot. Vytautas, as well, teaches several seminars on Private Law at the Vilnius University Faculty of Law. As a PhD researcher he has recently conducted research at the Luxembourg Centre for European Law (LCEL).

Vytautas is an active member of the arbitration community. He is a former mentee of the Young ITA Mentorship Program and the Young ICCA Mentoring Programme. He publishes annually and is a co-editor of the Lithuanian arbitration journal (Arbitražas: Teorija ir praktika).

Mr Juan Pablo Valdivia Pizarro

Juan Pablo Valdivia Pizarro is a Managing Associate at the arbitration department of Linklaters LLP in Amsterdam, who specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration. He graduated with a degree in law from Pontificia Universidad Católica (Peru) and graduated cum laude from the LL.M. in Arbitration and Business Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Next to his work at Linklaters, he is a Lecturer in international arbitration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Ms Giulia Valente Bagattini

Giulia is an Associate at SLCG, a boutique law firm with offices in Milan, Rome, Florence, and Paris. She is admitted to the Italian Bar. Before joining SLCG, she interned at Linklaters and later worked at a Florence-based law firm, where she focused on commercial and insolvency litigation. She is now part of SLCG’s International Arbitration Department, advising clients on international commercial arbitration, with a particular focus on energy, construction, and life sciences disputes.
Giulia is Chair of the Florence Arbitration Association, where she supports all arbitration-related activities of the University of Florence School of Law. Since 2021, she has been coaching and preparing the University of Florence team for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. Mr Joost van Dam

Joost is a legal professional with an academic background and extensive international work experience. He is admitted to the Bar of Amsterdam.

His academic journey includes an LL.M in Corporate Law from the University of Leiden, an LL.M in International Law from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Amsterdam.

Joost gained valuable experience through a traineeship in International Arbitration at Shearman & Sterling in Paris, France. Following this, he worked as an Associate in Dispute Resolution at Fieldfisher, Amsterdam, and as an Associate in Dispute Resolution at Dentons, Amsterdam. He is currently an Associate at GBS Disputes in Paris, working on international arbitration matters.

Ms Emma Van de Venster

My name is Emma Van de Venster, I am a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in international law and advocacy. During my academic journey, I had the privilege of competing in the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where my team emerged as the winners of the Belgian National Rounds. Here, I was also honored to receive the Best Oralist Award.

Building on my moot court experience, I am currently pursuing an LLM in European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna, where I focus on the intersection of international commerce and regulatory frameworks. This program has deepened my understanding of international arbitration, contract law, and cross-border dispute resolution.

My combined practical experience and academic training have equipped me with the skills to serve as an arbitrator in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

I am eager to contribute my expertise and enthusiasm to the Vis Moot and to support the next generation of legal advocates.

Dr Erik Van den Haute

PhD Doctor in Law - Professor of International Commercial Transactions and of International Business Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and of International Company Law at the Université de Lyon 3 - Director of LLM programs International Business Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and at the Royal University of Law and Economics (Phnom Penh, Cambodia). 20 years professional experience as lawyer (including arbitration) at the Brussels Bar. Member of CEPANI, of the Groupe de Travail Contrats Internationaux (headed by F. De Ly), of Capitant association and of the European Society of Contract Law. Author of several books on many articles in the area of contract law, european harmonization of private law, commercial and business law.

Me Claudette van Zyl

Claudette van Zyl is an experienced litigation lawyer with a broad practice spanning civil, commercial, and public law. Combining technical precision, strategic insight, and a highly adaptable approach, she brings extensive experience to commercial litigation, competition law, emerging technologies, and international arbitration. She also has a strong background advising on governance, ESG compliance, and anti-corruption matters, both in private practice and in-house.
Throughout her career, Claudette has acted in complex proceedings, including international arbitrations, high stakes mediations, and class actions involving competition, marketing, and product liability. She has also argued cases in the areas of administrative and environmental law, addressing issues such as permitting, regulatory decrees, and government obligations. I am a passionate lawyer who successfully graduated from Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law after ranking 2073rd in Turkey's graduate entrance exam. During my time in law school, I actively participated in various extracurricular activities to enhance my legal knowledge and skills. I was also a dedicated team member in the 31st Vis Moot, where I gained valuable experience in international commercial arbitration. Additionally, I completed two internships that helped me develop practical skills. I continue to strive for excellence in my legal career. Ms María Paz Vela Sevilla

María Paz Vela Sevilla is an Ecuador-qualified lawyer specializing in international arbitration, commercial dispute resolution, and intellectual property enforcement. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, focusing on commercial and investment arbitration, private international law, and ADR mechanisms.

Before moving to Berlin, María Paz worked in the Dispute Resolution Unit of Tobar ZVS in Quito, handling complex contentious matters for international clients—including arbitration, mediation and IP rights enforcement. Ms Aline Verhofsté

Mr Lucas Viana

My name is Lucas Viana. I have a law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where I graduated in July, 2022. I currently work as a Lawyer within the dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration practice of Mattos Filho Advogados, in Brazil.

I had my first experience with the Vis Moot in 2019, when I participated as a competitor in the 26th Edition. I was an oralist in the 28th Edition of the Vis Moot and have been acting as a coach for my university since. This year I will be attending the Vis Moot once again as a coach.

In the 30th Vis Moot, I hope to provide valuable feedback to the students and contribute to the high level competition that the Vis Moot is acknowledged for.

Mrs Elisa Vicente Maravall

As the Deputy Secretary General and Legal Director at the Centro Internacional e Iberoamericano de Arbitraje (CIIAM), Elisa leads the coordination of all its cases worldwide.

After obtaining the Double Degree in Law and Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Elisa aquired extensive experience in international commercial transactions, advising for 15 years, at Garrigues, clients on pre-litigation negotiation processes and on ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings, in various languages (both French and English, as well as Spanish) and before the most prestigious international institutions, as well as on matters relating to bilateral investment agreements, providing advice to large companies, financial institutions and governments.

Elsewhere, she also acquired specific experience in international construction disputes and, in particular, in FIDIC contracts, assisting her clients from the preparation of claims before the Engineer, to adjudication before DABs and, eventually, arbitration.

Elisa currently lectures on International Arbitration at IE University (Bachelor of Laws, LL.B. and Master in International Arbitration) and Universidad CEU San Pablo (Master in International Arbitration). Mrs Sonja Vidal

Sonja Vidal is Principal Associate in the Global Dispute Resolution team at Freshfields in Hamburg, Germany. She advises and represents national and international companies in complex disputes arising out of all areas of business and commercial law.

Mr Giovanni Viglino

Giovanni is a PhD candidate in International law at Bocconi University. His research project focuses on the procedural status of third parties and the judicial function of international courts and tribunals.
He is the coach in charge of the Università degli Studi di Milano Vis Moot team.
In 2024, he spent a period at Columbia University as a visiting scholar. In 2020, he graduated from the MIDS in Geneva (LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement) with the dissertation “The recognition and enforcement of exclusive and conflicting choice of forum agreements” under the supervision of Professor Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler.
He is qualified to practice as a lawyer in Italy.

Mr Adrián Roberto Villagómez Alemán

I am a partner at the law firm Sainz Abogados, S.C. in Mexico. I co-lead the teams of arbitration and litigation of the firm. I have an LL.M. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. I have a certificate of specialization in International Law from such university. I am the Vicepresidente of the Bajío Chapter of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). I obtained a diploma by ICC and Escuela Libre de Derecho in International Commercial Arbitration (5 month seminar). I am a professor of the class Private International Law and International Commercial Arbitration at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro. I have represented and advised national and international companies in judicial and arbitration procedures for more than 15 years, in any kind of industry. Ms Jyotsna Vilva

Jyotsna is an International Associate at Three Crowns LLP, Washington DC. She is an India and New York qualified attorney, and has experience acting for corporations and state-owned entities in international commercial arbitrations, investment arbitrations, and complex enforcements of foreign judgements and awards. Jyotsna holds an LL.M. in International Economic Law, Business, and Policy from Stanford Law School, where she graduated with distinction for pro bono work. While at Stanford, Jyotsna was an editor of the Stanford Journal of International Law, and was actively involved in pro bono work, advising Californian youth within the juvenile justice system. She also holds a B.A. LL.B. degree from the National Law School of India University, graduating with several academic honours. Before pursuing her master's degree, she was an associate in the International Arbitration practice at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (India) for 3 years. Ms Mariana Von Bentzeen

I am a Brazilian lawyer who graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in September of 2024. I have been working with and studying arbitration since 2022 and currently I work in the arbitration department at Pinheiro Neto Advogados. I served as a speaker for the UFMG team in the 31st Willem C. Vis Moot, where our team advanced to the Round of 64. Now, I contribute as one of the team’s coaches. Additionally, I am an editor for the CISG-Brasil website, a database dedicated to the study of the CISG.

Mr David von der Thannen

David is an Austrian academic and practitioner who studied law at the University of Vienna and Harvard Law School. From 2022 to 2024, he served as head coach of the University of Vienna’s Vis Moot Team. Under his guidance, the team won the 30th Vis Moot in 2023 and placed second in the 31st Moot the following year. At Harvard, David founded and hosted the inaugural Harvard Law School Vis Pre-Moot. Alongside his work at a leading Austrian arbitration firm, he regularly publishes on dispute resolution and antitrust.

Mr Alexander von Keudell

Alexander has participated in the 26th Vis Moot and is currently a coach of the Vis Moot team of the University of Passau for the second time. After finishing his law studies, he started his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court in Munich and completed it in 2023. In addition to his work as a coach, he also is a research assistant at the University Passau where he teaches law students and is currently pursuing a doctor's degree in International Private Law and Arbitration.
He has worked as a Trainee Lawyer in Hong Kong in the field of International Commercial Arbitration and in Munich in a dispute resolution team.

Dr Matthias von Kossak

Dr Matthias von Kossak is German-qualified attorney and Counsel at Manner Masser, a dispute resolution boutique in Hamburg/Frankfurt, Germany. He specializes in complex disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals as well as negotiating complex contracts.

Previously, he worked in the Dispute Resolution Practice of Watson Farley & Williams LLP and GvW Graf von Westphalen. Having also worked as an in-house legal counsel in international corporations (inter alia in the renewable energy sector), he has first-hand experience in negotiating complex international construction contracts.

Matthias participated in the 15th Vis Moot 2007/09 with the first team of the University Hamburg and supported various Vis Moot teams in the following years.

Mrs Maria Clara von Rundstedt

Associate at the Baker McKenzie Dispute Resolution Team in Germany and co-editor of Global Arbitration News. Mrs. von Rundstedt has previously worked with the teams from New York and Rio de Janeiro (in cooperation with Trench Rossi Watanabe). She advises and represents clients in complex arbitration proceedings and has experience with cases conducted in English, Portuguese, and German under the rules of major institutions.
Mrs. von Rundstedt is the founder and coordinator of the CAM-CCBC Legal Writing Course, a free legal writing course for students participating in the Vis Moot. As a Vis Moot participant, she ranked among the best speakers of the 26th Vis Moot. She also successfully participated as a coach in the Vis Moot (Round of 64) and the FDI Moot (Second Highest Ranked Team).

Mr Petr Vošahlík

Petr is a Partner at BBH, attorneys-at-law, and an arbitrator. The core of his work consists of advising clients in commercial disputes. Petr has represented numerous clients mainly in the real estate, energy and health care industries in Czech courts as well as in international arbitrations under ICC, VIAC, SCC, Prague Arbitration Court and UNCITRAL Rules and regularly sits as arbitrator in commercial cases. Petr is a member of the Czech ICC Commission on International Arbitration and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Petr graduated from Charles University in Prague a and spent one year studying at Freie Universität Berlin. Petr has participated in the 20th Vis Moot as a mootie and has coached the team of Charles University in Prague for the following four years.

Mr Nelson Voß

Nelson Voß qualified as a law graduate at the University of Leipzig, completing a rigorous curriculum with electives in legal philosophy, legal history, and legal sociology. He completed his studies in February 2025. During his program, he undertook internships at a Public Prosecutor’s Office, a Regional Court, and a mid-sized law firm, gaining early exposure to prosecutorial practice, judicial procedure, and advisory work. From March to July 2025, he served as a graduate research associate in public law at CMS Hasche Sigle in Berlin, supporting complex research and drafting across matters with public-law dimensions. Since September 2025, he has been studying International Commercial Arbitration Law (ICAL) in Stockholm, now focusing on Dispute Resolution. In his free time, he brings over 16 years of team-sport experience and enjoys new challenges such as scuba diving and marathon running.

Ms. Zuzana Vysúdilová is a French-qualified international arbitration lawyer of Slovak origin currently practicing as Counsel (Europe & Middle East) at International Construction Chambers in London. She has over ten years of experience representing States, State-owned entities, and multinational corporations in investor-state, construction, and commercial arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, and UNCITRAL rules, with proceedings seated in Paris, London, Singapore, Stockholm, and Riyadh. Gretta Walters is Counsel at Chaffetz Lindsey LLP in New York. Mr Tino Wasner

Tino completed his First State Examination at the University of Mannheim (Germany) in early 2026. He has been actively involved in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot since the 2022/2023 edition.

Ms Haley Wasserman

Haley L. Wasserman focuses her practice on international litigation and arbitration. Haley has represented companies and sovereign states in disputes before a variety of courts and arbitral institutions, and spanning a broad array of subject matters, including energy, telecommunications, media, medical devices, and infrastructure projects. Linda Maria Wayner is an attorney, professor, and diversity specialist. She specializes in commercial litigation, employment disputes, and international arbitration. She began her career at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in its litigation and arbitration group, and then served New York City's Mayor Michael R. Mr Urs Weber-Stecher

Maren Wibke Weigl represents clients in contentious proceedings, with a focus on arbitration proceedings. Irene Welser is the Senior Partner of the Viennese law firm CERHA HEMPEL where she heads the Contentious Business Department. Mr Oliver D. William

Oliver D. William obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and subsequently worked as a practicing attorney in Zurich. During this time, he also contributed to a research project supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the German Research Foundation (DFG), and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). He earned his doctorate from the University of Zurich with a thesis titled "Reinsurance and the Law of Aggregation - Event, Occurrence, Cause." After completing his dissertation, he began a postdoctoral project that focuses on exploring how non-legal norms such as customs and usages become relevant in the law of obligations. Mr David Wong

Ms Basak Yalman

Basak Yalman is a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich Faculty of Law. Her doctoral research focuses on product safety and product liability, with particular attention to artificial intelligence systems, examined through the lens of risk allocation in complex supply chains. She holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Edinburgh (with distinction) and completed her legal education at Istanbul University Faculty of Law (cum laude). She has presented her research at multiple international conferences and has held visiting research positions at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and at the University of Edinburgh. Her academic work lies at the intersection of commercial law, private law liability, contract law, and emerging technologies.

Mr Pezhman Yazdani

I am an LL.M. student at Sapienza University of Rome, specializing in European Studies, with a strong focus on international commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. My academic training in private international law, combined with extensive moot court experience, has provided me with a solid foundation in arbitral procedure, legal reasoning, and advocacy evaluation.
I have actively participated in international moot court competitions, including the Willem C. Vis Moot and the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of arbitral standards, persuasive advocacy, and the role of arbitrators in ensuring procedural fairness and analytical rigor. My teams achieved notable results, including receiving the Spirit Competition Award at the Jessup Moot.
In addition to mooting, I have professional experience as a legal consultant, where I regularly engaged in contract analysis, dispute-related risk assessment, and legal argumentation. I am also affiliated with UNIDROIT, which has strengthened my exposure to international commercial instruments and comparative approaches to dispute resolution.
Having benefited greatly from the Vis Moot community, I am highly motivated to contribute as an arbitrator. I am particularly interested in providing constructive, fair, and practice-oriented feedback to support the development of future arbitration practitioners.

Ms Berfin Yelken

I am a qualified attorney with one year of professional experience, specializing in litigation, contract law, and corporate advisory. I graduated from MEF University Faculty of Law with Honors, completing a partially English legal education that strengthened my analytical thinking and legal writing skills in an international context.

Following the completion of my legal internship, I worked at Kızılyel & Partners Law Firm, where I was actively involved in managing court proceedings, drafting pleadings and contracts, providing legal opinions, and advising corporate clients on compliance and corporate governance matters. I also participated in mediation and settlement processes, gaining hands-on experience in dispute resolution and negotiation strategies.

My academic background includes coursework in Competition Law, Capital Markets Law, International Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law, and IT Law. I further developed my international perspective through my participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.

I am particularly interested in Antitrust and Competition Law, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration and Intellectual Property, and I am motivated to grow within an international legal environment that values excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Ms Caroline Yersin

Caroline Yersin studied law at the University of Passau and in Michigan, US. With the team of the University of Passau she reached the quarterfinals in the 25th Vis Moot and coached the team in the 26th Vis Moot. She is working as lawyer and research assistant at an international law firm in Munich.

Mr Efe Can YILDIRIR

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Efe Can Yıldırır is a scholar of Civil Law at Istanbul University, where he has served since 2011 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor. He earned his LL.B. from Koç University (2010) and completed both his LL.M. (2013) and Ph.D. (2021) at Istanbul University. His academic work focuses on contract law, guarantee law, international commercial obligations, and comparative private law — areas directly intersecting with the core themes of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Dr. Yıldırır has conducted advanced research at leading international institutions, including the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, where he worked on projects involving comparative contract law and cross-border private-law harmonization. He has authored several monographs and numerous peer-reviewed articles on obligations, co-ownership, and contractual risk allocation.
Alongside his academic career, he serves as legal counsel at Egemenoglu Law Firm, advising on national and international transactions and acting in complex commercial disputes. He is also a court-appointed expert in Turkish Commercial Courts and currently chairs the Board of Young ITOTAM, contributing to the development of arbitration practice in Türkiye.
He is fluent in French and English, with intermediate proficiency in German.

Mr Adham Younes

My name is Adham Younes, currently a junior associate at Zaki Hashem law firm. I have participated in multiple moot court competition throughout my academic years, and i am an experienced Vis Moot participant with a strong advocacy and arbitration background, as i competed in the last CRCICA Pre-Moot, where my team ranked first in Egypt and finished as overall runner-up, and fortunately I got awarded as one of the best oralist for my performance. I later represented my team in Vienna at the Willem C. Vis International Moot’s international rounds. And, i have also have been selected to serve as an arbitrator in this year’s FDI National Rounds, and have been chosen to arbitrate in this year’s CRCICA Pre-Moot. These experiences have made me highly familiar with moot procedures, legal reasoning, and effective case management. And therefore, i trust i can add value in my role as an arbitrator.

Mr Robert Young

Graduated from Columbia University Law School in 1976. Recently retired after working at the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and U.S. Dept. of Justice for 38 years, specializing in competition law. I am working with the Loyola University of Chicago Vis Moot team and will act as an arbitrator at their pre-moot in February.

Saba Nejan Yüce is a dedicated lawyer with a passion for arbitration and international legal practice. Dr Avi Zamir

Avi joined the Israel Bar Association in 1989. As a lawyer he engaged in various fields of Civil Law. He was appointed as a judge in 1998. He served at the Magistrate´s Court and the Tel Aviv District Court until his retirement in 2015, after 17 years on the bench. On both tribunals, he engaged in criminal and civil cases. Avi joined A. Gabrieli law firm in 2015 and has been involved in hundreds of civil mediation and arbitration proceedings since. He was a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). Mr Cristian Alejandro ZANNIER

Ms Miriam Anna Zari

Miriam Zari is an associate in the International Arbitration Group of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in Milan, Italy. Ms. Zari’s experience includes assisting sovereign clients in international commercial and investment arbitration and international dispute resolution procedures. Ms. Zari developed complementary experience in domestic litigation on behalf of sovereign States and related entities. Separately, she had the opportunity to advise clients on public international law matters as well as international sanctions and restrictive measures issued by the European Union.

Enrolled in the Milan Lawyers’ Bar, Ms. Zari is one of the Co-Chairs of AA40 – The Italian Below40 Arbitration Association. In this capacity, she organizes and takes part in several events dedicated to the promotion of arbitration and ADR culture in Italy.

Mr Maksym Zeltser

Ms Eglė Zemlytė

Dr. Eglė Zemlytė is an Associate Professor at the Department of Private Law, Faculty of Law, Vilnius University, where she teaches international commercial arbitration and civil procedure. Her research focuses on international arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and civil procedure. She the author or co-author of numerous academic publications on arbitration and other dispute resolution mechanisms. She regularly participates in academic and professional discussions in the field of dispute resolution. Admitted to the Lithuanian Bar, she previously practiced as counsel for nearly 15 years, representing Lithuanian and foreign companies in arbitration and litigation. She has acted in proceedings conducted under various institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules, including the SCC, ICC, LCIA, VCCA, and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, as well as before Lithuanian courts. Prior to focusing more extensively on her work as an arbitrator, she worked as an attorney-at-law at one of the largest law firms in Lithuania and subsequently joined a boutique law firm. She regularly acted as arbitrator and served as presiding arbitrator in proceedings administered by the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration.

Mr Daniel Zeyer-Iyengar

Daniel Zeyer-Iyengar is a Swiss qualified attorney who participated in the 27th Willem C. Vis Moot for the University of Basel. Associate Professor Beibei Zhang

Dr. Beibei Zhang is an associate professor at the School of Law, Shandong University. She also serves as a part-time judge assistant at the High Court of Shandong Province, China. She holds a PhD from the University of Groningen, as well as master's degrees from the China University of Political Science and Law and Stockholm University. Her undergraduate law degree was earned at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Dr Shu Zhang

Dr. Shu Zhang is a senior lecturer in commercial law at Deakin Law School, Deakin University (Australia). Dr Zhang is also one of the Editors-in-Chief of the VIndobona Journal of International Commercial Law and Arbitration. Prior to joining Deakin Law School, Dr. Zhang was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chinese International Business and Economic Law Initiative, Law School, University of New South Wales (Australia). Her research interests include international commercial law, dispute resolution and international arbitration, as well as comparative contract law. She is also admitted to practice in New South Wales, Australia. Dr Tietie "Frank" Zhang

Dr Tietie “Frank” Zhang is a Senior Lecturer at the City Law School. Prior to joining City, he held the post of Lecturer in Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Sheffield School of Law. Dr Zhang’s main research areas include international commercial arbitration, international trade law, and the Chinese legal system. He teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Zhang received his law degrees from both China and the US. Before joining academia, he worked in a leading Chinese law firm in Beijing, practicing in the field of international commercial dispute resolution. Dr Zhang is a member of the Bars of the PRC and the State of New York.

Ms Ziwei Zhao

I hold dual LL.M. degrees in Comparative Law from China University of Political Science and Law and in European & International Law from the University of Hamburg, graduating in 2024. Currently, I work as a Case Manager at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), where I administer a diverse caseload of arbitration proceedings and contribute to institutional development and event coordination—including organizing the CIETAC Cup for two consecutive years.

Mr Tobias Zuberbühler

Tobias Zuberbühler is an independent arbitrator and counsel with over 25 years of experience in dispute resolution.
