Mr Kadi Abdurakhmanov
Kadi Abdurakhmanov works as an in-house counsel at Four Seasons Hotels and Resort in Moscow since October, 2016. After spending one year and a half in hospitality industry, Kadi knows how the sector works and what kind of business model meets high request of clients and partners the best. Moreover, with his distinguished colleagues, Kadi have assisted business owners on several real estate projects connected with deals aimed at the property development.
Concerning disputes resolution, Kadi is doing several litigation projects on construction and bank guarantee mattes as well as land disputes.

I am graduated from Ankara University Law Faculty at the head of my class, cum laude, in 1989. I completed LL.M at London School of Economics in 1991. I finished Ph.D at Ankara University in 1998. Following that I become an assistant proffessor at Ankara University Law Faculty. In 2004 I become an associate proffessor and in 2010 I obtained proffessorship. Till then I am working as a full time proffessor at Ankara University Law Faculty.

Mr Wala Al-Daraji
Wala is an arbitrator, delay expert witness and lecturer with a wealth of construction experience in the UK and the Middle East. He currently lectures construction law and project planning, at postgraduate and undergraduate level, at the University of Westminster. He also supervises master’s degree dissertations in delay and construction claims.

Mr Farid Alizada
I was born in 1994 in the little city of Azerbaijan called Astara. in 2000 in the same city I started to do my primary school and left it in 2009 to continue my studies in Baku. Once I finished school number 158 in Baku in 2011, I decided to pass state examination and study Bachelor level studies. Thankfully, I graduated sucessfully from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and hold Bachelor’s degree in Law. After Bachelors, I pursued Master’s degree at University of Eastern Finland during which I attended many courses, had an exchange semester in Sweden, and get taste of Finnish education, but I did not manage to graduate due to illness and financial issues. During my studies I completed in Summer School on Internet Crime and Energy Transitions Conference, which introduced me to the relevant areas of Law. After returning to Azerbaijan from Finland, I started to work at Labour Inspectorate of Republic of Azerbaijan where I currently work. My job tasks included listening to citizens, adressing their complaints and restoration of their employment rights. My first job experience improved my patience, determination, and interpersonal skills.
Dr Gizem Alper
Dr. Gizem Alper attended the Bilkent University Faculty of Law. She has her master’s degree in Law and Economics and her doctorate degree in Private Law both from the Bilkent University Faculty of Law, where she was a teaching and research assistant at the Civil Law Department during her studies. She is currently rendering her post-doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. As of April 2020, she will continue her post-doctoral studies at the Oxford University Institute of European and Comparative Law. Mr Ibrahim Alturki
Ibrahim Alturki is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge focusing on international commercial arbitration and finance. He is a founding board member and the current president of the Cambridge Arbitration Society(CUArb) and a co-coach of the Cambridge team to the Vis Moot. He has over 5 years of experience in litigation, arbitration and cross border disputes and 5 years of teaching experience.

Dr. Jur. Ihab Amro is an Assistant Professor of Private Law and a practicing lawyer and a chartered arbitrator. He holds PhD from the Athens Law School in Greece awarded in early 2011. He has published several books on International Commercial Arbitration, including a book on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards under Cambridge Scholars Publishing ('C-S-P') in the UK in 2014, which has been included in the Bibliography of 1958 New York Convention Guide of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law ‘UNCITRAL’. Also, his last book on online arbitration published under C-S-P in early 2019 has been selected as the best (civil) law book in the world in 2019 by Book Authority, which identifies and rates the best books in the world as featured on CNN, Forbes, and INC, and it has been selected in the list of the best arbitration books of all time. Apart from that, a Paperback version of his book on online arbitration has been published in late 2021. Sushmita argued for Respondent-Procedure at the 26th Vis Moot in Vienna, as a part of the team representing Middlesex University Dubai. She completed her law degree with first class honours in September 2020, and is presently working in the arbitration practice of a Dubai law firm, and acting as one of the coaches to Middlesex Dubai’s team.

Peter R. Day is an independent arbitrator and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He retired from the Boeing legal depart ment after 25 years, including nine years as Chief Counsel for Boeing Computer Services. He began his legal career as a U. S. Marine Corps trial lawyer and court-martial judge, and then as a civilian prosecutor in San Mateo County, California.
He has taught international commercial arbitration at the University of Washington Law School and has taught at the MBA and undergraduate level at the Seattle University Business School. He also teaches trial practice for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and has organized workshops on cross-examination in international arbitration in Beijing, Shanghai and Vienna.
He received a B.A. from Yale University, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco, a Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées (as a Fulbright Scholar) from the University of Grenoble, France, and studied at the Europa-Institut in Saarbrücken, Germany. He also attended an executive program (Programme Supérieur pour Dirigeants) at the INSEAD international business school in France.

Joaquim Pedro de Miranda Baldoíno is qualified to practice law in Brazil. Joaquim is conducting postgraduate studies in International Relations and Diplomacy at Unisinos University. Ms Thera Dieleman
Thera Dieleman (1988) grew up as a Dutch citizen in Germany. She is a real estate lawyer in a notary firm in the east of the Netherlands, which focuses on cross-border cases between the Netherlands and Germany. Before she has been a lecturer in Private Law at Maastricht University, Radboud University Nijmegen, both the Netherlands, and Hasselt University, Belgium, for 3,5 years. In 2009, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics from Utrecht University. In 2013, she graduated from Leiden University, having completed Masters in Civil Law and Philosophy of Law. During her masters in Civil Law she got interested in arbitration and has done empirical research on the use of arbitration and mediation within a multinational.
During her studies, she was among other things a student-assistant in the library of the Dutch Supreme Court in The Hague.
She is a former participant in the 20th Vis Moot and was twice an arbitrator in Vienna and twice during the virtual editions. All the times in Vienna she enjoyed the great international atmosphere, the nice people she met and hopefully will see again. She really looks forward to come back to Vienna and experiences the moot again as an arbitrator.

Mr Daniel Diniz
Born and raised in a country family and with very few resources, my dream was to be a basketball player. I reached this goal with a lot of effort, dedication, and help from many people, for which I will be eternally grateful. I start my biography like this because basketball enabled me to attend law school, through a scholarship. During college, I can say that I achieved excellent grades and, soon after taking LL.M. in Business Law I became a professor. Today I am a lawyer, professor of Startup Law, M&A, and Arbitration in Curitiba – PR. I participate in the FAE Business School Arbitration Group and work in national arbitrations. Mr Martin Doe
Martin Doe serves as Deputy Secretary-General at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, an intergovernmental organization which administers arbitrations and other dispute resolution proceedings involving various combinations of States, State entities, intergovernmental organizations, and private parties.
He has worked closely with arbitral tribunals in some of the largest and most complex inter-State, investor-State, and commercial cases administered by the PCA spanning the full breadth of public and private international law as well as the full range of commercial industry sectors. My name is Christoph S. Doellefeld, and I am a 2013 graduate of New York Law School. I currently work as a Legal Risk & Regulatory Compliance Consultant at Protiviti, Inc., and am based in New York City. Additionally, I am a member of the New York State Bar, the New York City Bar, and serve on the New York City Bar's Committee on Science and the Law, where I chair the Space-Settling Subcommittee. While in law school, I had the honour of representing my school at the 2013 Vis Moot Competition in Vienna. Ms. Hana Doumal leads the Secretariat of the BVI International Arbitration Centre.
Hana has served in the arbitration sector at leading international firms and arbitral institutions in Hong Kong, Washington, D.C. and Paris. She has experience in commercial arbitration and investor-State arbitration, working in English, French and Spanish.
Before joining the BVI IAC, Hana was a Registered Foreign Lawyer in the international arbitration practice of Pinsent Masons in their Hong Kong office. She previously worked as a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the arbitration team of King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong, and before that, as Counsel at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). She has coached the Bilkent University Vis Moot Team and the Bilkent University ISTAC Moot Team, and has been acting as an arbitrator in various national and internation moot court competitions, including the FDI Moot, Jessup, and the ICC Moot.
Her ISTAC Moot Team won the 4th ISTAC Future of the Arbtiration Moot Court Competition in Turkey, in 2020, and her Vis Moot and Vis East Moot teams in 2021 became the highest ranking Turkish university team to reach the octo-finals and semi-finals, respectively.
Mr Chanakya Dwivedi

Dr Björn P. Ebert
Björn P. Ebert is an Associated Partner with Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart, Germany, and specializes in international arbitration, including enforcement and setting aside proceedings. Björn studied law at the University of Tübingen and graduated top of his class in 2014. He participated in the 18. Willem C Vis International Arbitration Moot Court and coached the team of the University of Tübingen in the following moot court. In February 2017, he received a PhD from the University of Tübingen. During writing his dissertation on international investment arbitration, he worked at a German law firm specializing in international arbitration. He was a visiting scholar at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law in Cambridge in autumn 2015 and in spring 2016. Björn was co-chair of the DIS40 Stuttgart from 2020 through 2023.

Ms Chloe Edworthy
Chloe is a senior associate at London firm Macfarlanes LLP. She has a particular interest in international arbitration and commercial litigation, with a focus on corporate disputes.

Ms Myriam Eid
Myriam is a senior counsel with Al-Marri & El-Hage Law Office in Doha and leads its Arbitration and ADR practice. Prior to joining the firm, Myriam was a partner and the head of the arbitration practice in a leading law firm in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
Myriam has more than 15 years of experience in the conduct of international and domestic arbitration proceedings (ad hoc and institutional) in the MENA Region, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Lebanon.
Myriam is a qualified lawyer registered with the Beirut Bar Association and a member of the scientific committee of the Arbitration Center of the Beirut Bar Association. Myriam is also a member of the ERA Pledge Middle East Sub-committee. She served as an ICC YAF Representative for the MENA (2017-2019). Ms Nour El Ghadban
Lawyer in Egypt, and currently in the Institut des Etudes Judiciaires of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Ms. El Ghadban obtained a double degree of Egyptian and French Law from the Institut de droit des affaires internationales (IDAI), which was the result of a cooperation agreement between Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Cairo University.
In 2019, Ms. El Ghadban obtained a masters degree from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in International Economic Law. In 2020, Ms. El Ghadban obtained a masters degree from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Comparative Law. Her first exposure to arbitration was as an intern in the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration. Since, she has had numerous internships in international law firms in Cairo and Paris, specifically in the arbitration department.
In 2018, Ms. El Ghadban participated as a mootie in the 15th Vis East Moot. That year, as an administrator of her university's moot club, she organised the 4th annual local IDAI moot court. Dr Tarek El Ghadban
Tarek El Ghadban is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and an associate lecturer at the Sorbonne Law School and the University of Osnabrück. His research focuses on the link between public and private international law, and international dispute resolution. An almnus of the "Institut de droit des Affaires Internationales" (IDAI or the International Business Law Institue), he holds a "Licence" in French law and in Egyptian law, and Masters in International and European business law, as well as Private International Law and International Commercial Law from the École de Droit de la Sorbonne. He obtained his PhD from the same university, in International and European law on the subject of " Universal jurisdiction in civil matters".

Mr Petrit Elshani
Petrit studied law at the University of Prishtina and the Free University of Berlin (LL.B.). He is a graduate of the International Dispute Resolution LL.M. program of Humboldt University Berlin, focusing on commercial and investment arbitration. Since 2016 he has been with WAGNER Arbitration, a Berlin-based boutique firm. Petrit is admitted to the Kosovo Bar Association as Avokat (Attorney-at-law) since 2017. He is a doctoral candidate at Humboldt University Berlin on a topic relating to State responsibility in the context of investment treaty law.
He acts as arbitrator and counsel in international arbitration proceedings (ICSID, ICC, DIS, SCC, UNCITRAL, IHK). Mr Hesham Elwakeel
Hesham is an academic and a professional lawyer in the fields of private international law, arbitration and competiton law.
Hesham is currently an Assistant Lecturer of private international law at Cairo University.
Hesham is also an Associate in the arbitration and competition teams at Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy. Hesham handles international and domestic arbitration cases under various rules, including ICC, LCIA, ICSID, CRCICA and UNCITRAL, in relation to disputes involving oil and gas agreements, share purchase agreements, telecommunications, construction, pharmaceuticals, maritime, and international investment in Egyptian and Saudi law jurisdictions. Furthermore, Hesham works on enforcement proceedings of arbitral awards before Egyptian courts.
Hesham also handles a multiplicity of competition law matters and disputes within the competiton practice at Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy, and deals with the legal and economic analysis of cartels, vertical agreements, abuse of dominance. Hesham also participates in providing strategies for mergers and acquisitions, training on dawn raids, and preparing fair competition compliance reports for multinational companies.

Assoc Prof Dr Ersin Erdogan
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin Erdogan is Associate Professor at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University since 2015. He received his LL.B. (2010), LL.M. (2011) and PHD degrees (2015) from Bilkent University, where he worked there also as a research assistant for 5 years (2010-2015). He made last year his post-doc researches as a Guest-Researcher at Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.

Ms Beatriz Estill
Beatriz Rieche Estill holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Ibmec University and is pursuing a postgraduate degree (specialization) in Civil Procedure at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ).
Currently, Beatriz is enrolled in Unidroit’s Research Programme in Rome, where she is conducting research about the impact of the enforcement of foreign arbitration awards on the globalization process, specially the effects and influence of the New York Convention.
Beatriz is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) in Rio de Janeiro Section, as well as Young ICCA and the Young Arbitration Practitioners Committee of the Brazilian Center of Mediation and Arbitration (CJA/CBMA). Efosa Osaruemen EWERE is a Partner in Gravida Attorneys, a Law Firm in Nigeria engaged primarily in Commercial Law Practice with a special bias for ADR as a tool for dispute resolution.
