Is contact person authorised by the university to register the team?

This is the address that will be used for the invoice that will be created for the registration fee. Invoices will be issued promptly after registration and as such it would be prudent to confirm the required details with the institution in advance. The invoice cannot be changed once it was issued.

Sometimes a law firm or organisation sponsoring a team wants the invoice to be addressed directly to them. Other times a university might require its official name – i.e. in your native language - to appear on the invoice
