Register as an Arbitrator

Arbitrators should note that the Moot is unable to provide any financial assistance to arbitrators. The Vis Moot is and remains extremely grateful for the time and effort arbitrators volunteer.

Those who are currently studying their first law degree are not eligible to be arbitrators. Student participants are not eligible to be arbitrators in the year following their participation irrespective of whether they have by then completed their law degree.

It is in the intention of the Vis Moot to publish on its website the description you have provided above, along with the photo you have supplied. These pages are regularly visited by students throughout the competition when they learn the identity of their arbitral panels. The pages are often also consulted by other arbitrators, and therefore present a good networking and profile building opportunity. We recommend that you do not include contact information in your biography.
